Yes folks, it's that time of year again.
Once more, I am planning to take part in the annual 'Stoney and Friends' fishing event. www.stoneyandfriends.co.uk This is to be held over the 3/4/5th September 2004, raising money for the MacMillan Cancer Relief charity. So far, through our fishing events, we have raised £84,408.22 and with your help, we aim to break the £100,000.00 barrier this year. If you would like to sponsor me for this worthy cause. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Mike. -------------------- Main Entry: in?spec?tor a : a police officer who is in charge of usually several
precincts and ranks below a superintendent or deputy superintendent b : a person appointed to oversee a polling place Main Entry: 1wea?sel or plural weasel : any of various small slender active carnivorous mammals (genus Mustela of the family Mustelidae, the weasel family) that are able to prey on animals (as rabbits) larger than themselves, are mostly reddish brown with white or yellowish underparts, and in northern forms turn white in winter. |

Is there an address etc for sending money? Who do we make a cheque out towards? Count me in for some cash (as a former cancer patient who was lucky enough not to require MacMillan's services), but I need to know how to get it to youse.

Good point Olly, I should have included that.
The normal procedure is for everyone to collect the money and hand it in on the 1st day, so if you could make any cheques out to Mike Lyddon, I shall then present them with one (hopefully big) cheque on the day. Rather than put my address on a public forum, anyone who wishes to pledge any monies, I shall then send my home address via PM. Many thanks again, Mike. -------------------- Main Entry: in?spec?tor a : a police officer who is in charge of usually several
