North Vs South Big Game 2006, Good Time had by all Options

Well what can I say Mike and I headed up to Birmingham on Saturday afternoon not knowing what we would find, upon arrival Mike and myself were both immediately impressed with the venue, What a huge difference over last year!!
It was held at a purpose built activity/team building centre, it even had proper bogs!!! Result! and more importantly a bar (even if it was a little expensive). After meeting up with Guppy and Brian, Mike and I went for a wander around the trade stands which were well stocked with the latest gear, the players party was good fun on Saturday night with plenty of drinking and the usual 'baller stuff (the paintball eating compo was a good laugh) The death metal band however was a bit much!!!
The game on Sunday was just as well organised I unfortunately had marker problems and ended up missing the first two and half hours play Still the techs at the planet tent sorted me out (nice one guys) and I finally got out on the field, I had a good laugh. I found the game to be a little less serious than previous big games I have played which was refreshing. Its a shame more of you didnt make it!! Still there is always next year. Anyway thanks to Guppy and Brian for sorting Mike and I out, I had a really nice day!
