Yep, SPOD are off to Reading this weekend so please pop down to support them if you have time. For the older ones amongst you, the tournament is being run by Twizz so there is bound to be lots of old faces popping up. Me for instance, I am going to go and "assist" SPOD in thier quest for glory.

However, I think it may be a bad sign that my Angel is dusty.... squeeze.gif wacko.gif

Find a map to the site here Reading Leisure Centre Map

No excuses, it's not too far away, the guys need the support and I may need CPR!

Has anyone heard how SPOD went today?

Pissed off that I missed it... I wish the Mrs would hurry up and squeeze this baby out. I mean, she even went as far as to have a couple of contractions on Thusday night so I couldn't even finish training!

well.......the placing was fair this time round (we didnt let colin sign the score sheets) dry.gif and we overall came 2nd, just 12 points behind the winners Heaven. tongue.gif biggrin.gif .

good ballin going on, shooting fools, and if it werent for the 3 guns down on our first game, maybe it would have been different....

tourny was better than expected as the night before the netting wasnt even finished, but it turned out ok, just the air was a bit shoddy.

Thanks colin and neil for coming, and for all are spectators dry.gif cry.gif

till next time.....Eric.

p.s. everyone played a blinder, got some footage too.

SPOD rocked it big time (considering they just got started)

Keeping a leash on the kids is like trying to hold back a band of rabid pit bulls!
Seriously, all the training has really paid off, the kids are getting very good. I'm really impressed with how agressive they are, how they take the inatitive, and really go after the kills.
Keep on Rocking little dudes... biggrin.gif

Tell me about it!

In one game I looked down to pot up, and looked
up again to see our man grab the flag! biggrin.gif

Feeling it today though!

All the guys should be proud of how well they played on Sunday, and i'm not that easily impressed. We had a few teething problems in Game 1 but then got moving quickly and started to progress up the score board.

Move of the Day:
Young Sam mugging the center barricade 'cos i told him there was someone on the other side. No hesitation, just went for it and then got back to his position. There was no one there because the guy had stopped short but the point was he did exactly what we had discussed and showed me that he had the minerals (not literally).

Comedy moment of the Day:
Colin falling over a scaffolding bar after the last game and , instead of risking the Nexus e-blade he held it high and pitched his face into the dirt. Tart.

Player of the Tournament:
Greg Milton. First time I had seen him play and I was very impressed. Good back players are hard to find so you need to hang on to this one, he could teach some of Campaign Power's back line a thing or two.

Really enjoyed it so thanks for the invite.

In investigating how come you didn't manage to complete the sign up procedure Sam I found that one other person also didn't complete it properly. You will be pleased to know that you have emulated your hero. Jamie Abbot also couldn't manage it on his own biggrin.gif

But Abbu is just an overqualified plumber, so no surprise there really.
